Winter Carnival 2017

Winter Carnival Winter Carnival 2017

Sunday, February 26th @ 4pm – 7pm

Duke Street East (Between Betzner and Pandora)

It’s that time of year again! KENA is having its 2nd Winter Carnival on Sunday February 26, 2017, from 4pm-7pm. All are welcome. Adorn yourselves with your brightest, wooliest, outdoor wear and celebrate the Canadian cold with the residents of King East Neighbourhood. This community event was so successful last year we decided to make it an annual tradition. Tell your neighbours and friends!
The Winter Carnival location returns to Duke Street this year (between Pandora and Betzner). This is a FREE event, but please consider making a small donation on the day to help us cover the costs of running the event.

This event is also a giant community potluck. A household on Duke Street, known for their weekly potlucks, will be our host during the event. Bring your favourite potluck comfort food to share (please list all ingredients).

Activities at the Winter Carnival will include: bouncy castle, hot chocolate and marshmallows, bonfire, maple snow cones, popcorn, crafts, homemade carnival games, face painting, street hockey, family yoga. See you soon!
